Adventures and Wildlife

The Klamath River is located in one of the most beautifiul places on the entire west coast, the Redwood National forest. The Redwood National Forest is one of the few places where the worlds largest trees, the Redwoods, grow. Amongst the beauty that the area has to offer, there is a proficient wildlife population that can be enjoyed by our guests on our property. Bald Eagels can almost daily be seen out front of the house. Amongst the eagles you can see: bears, river otters, coyotes, osprey, seals, whales, and gulls all intermingling within the wildlife community depending on the seasons.

Our property is located within the Yurok Tribes Reservation. We feel honored and priviledged to be able to be apart of the community. We encourage guests to learn about their traditions and culture.

The area also offers numerous natural coastal hikes and trails. These trails proved hikers with breathtaking views and a chance to unwind from the stresses of life. If trails aren’t your forte, take an upriver jet boat tour with us that will leave you in awe of the beauty that the coastal mountains and river creates. Use our kayaks for a leasurely paddle out on the river. Head over to the Trees of Mystery and view trees 300 ft tall. Learn how to smoke and catch your own salmon. There are numerous adventures and activities that will make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible!
