A getaway for anyone
Gold River Lodge provides guests a rare opportunity to experience the raw beauty and culture of the Klamath River from the comfort of its warmth. Our property is one of only a few establishments lucky enough to be within the Yurok tribal land – and at the center of some of the most premier fishing that the West Coast has to offer.
Our Lodge is easily accessible off of Highway 101, yet far enough away to begin adventures of a lifetime. Built in the summer of 2007, the lodge sits atop the ’64 high water mark overlooking the river. The lodge features a custom commercial kitchen and full picture windows. With full southern exposure, our deck is the perfect pedestal to view local river wildlife. The Lodge is completely furnished.
Whether you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, hike through the world’s tallest Redwood Trees, get to the beach and smell the ocean breeze, or try your hand at premiere fishing, the Lodge is the place to be.
Our property also features RV hook-ups for guests who have bought a timeshare spot. RV’s can be seen to the right of lodge view, but do not hinder the view of the river and beautiful landscape. The raw beauty and uniqueness that the Klamath provides our guests, creates a one of a kind family atmosphere.

Reviews
We spent an amazing weekend at the Gold River Lodge. The house was exactly as shown, cozy and lodge-like. The kitchen was great fun to cook in, huge and perfect for a group of people even though there were only a few of us. The outdoors was the best part of the stay. The house is directly on the river, with a huge expanse of grass and yard that our dogs loved to run around in. We were within 5 minutes of a beautiful hike down to the beach to the mouth of the river where we saw breathtaking views, and a whole crowd of seals fishing and bobbing in the waves! We were also within 10 minutes of the most beautiful redwood drive with yet more hiking, and even saw a herd of elk! Thanks to Kenton for the great recommendations and thanks to James for the delicious smoked salmon and incredible hospitality! We would love to come back for another stay!

If you are looking for a comfortable place from which to explore the Redwoods, the Pacific Ocean and Klamath River, this is an excellent site. Kenton was a wonderful host and the house had all the necessities including a very well outfitted kitchen, laundry and plenty of room. The setting is simply amazing--you are steps away from the river, the ocean and so many wonderful Redwood hikes.

This is a beautiful property right on the Kalamath River. The views from the big windows of the river and all the birds are spectacular. We saw a Bald Eagle fly right over the house one morning. The location is great if you want to go hiking, kayaking, fishing. There's a gorgeous wild beach close by, amazing Redwood hikes a short drive away. If you're looking for a beautiful spot from which to launch outdoor adventures or just sit in the big windows and watch the wide variety of birds on the river, then this is a perfect place. Kenton and James were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and helped us find places to hike etc. We brought our dogs with us and they may have had the best time of all. It's dog paradise up there.
